Never Give Up!
It took 68-year-old Korean Cha Sa-soon 950 attempts to pass her driving test. She finally got her license yesterday, which she needs for her vegetable selling business. It took her four years and the equivalent of £2,600 (US$4,200), but most of all a truck-load of determination.
“I believe you can achieve your goal if you persistently pursue it,” she told Reuters news agency. “So don’t give up your dream, like me. Be strong and do your best.”
I was drawn to this article because it illustrates one of the key phrases of my meditation teacher, Sri Chinmoy: Never give up!

Is there a situation where maybe you should give up – Well done Cha but I am glad i am not driving on the same roads as her.
What a good story it is indeed! Once I heard similar story when I was in school – spider and its web. I give lot of respect to this woman that she did not give up and kept on trying. I will spread this story among my friends “Never give up” is a good policy
950?!? I remember when I failed… Third times a charm, at least for me.
And I thought I was bad at getting my driver’s license – took me one year and a half. But good for this sweet old lady! The moral of the lesson is to never give up (even if it cost you a lot of time and money!)
